Shanghai never stops amazing me! I stayed a weekend before going to Beijing for Olympics. Zappati was really live on Friday night both the indoor dance floor and outdoor beer garden, we stayed until 1.30am and moved onto LAN - another fancy new restaurant/bar near the Bond (on the corner of Guangdong Rd and Sichuan Rd) and features beautiful decor

Some cheer, others jeer. But in the coming months, the only smoke you'll be breathing is from the smoke machine on the dance floor! The Michigan Senate has voted in favor of a ban on smoking in all bars, restaurants and workplaces. Now it's up to the House and Gov. Granholm!

When Kathryn Muth went sprawling on the floor of the bar at Palm Beach's Cucina Dell Arte restaurant in December 2004, it wasn't because the Vero Beach woman had drunk too many mojitos.

A Manhattan Taco Bell/KFC location remained closed on Friday after video showed about a dozen rats scurrying around the floor of the fast-food restaurant. At different times the rats could be seen congregating at one spot on the floor, but sanitation officials dismissed rumors that the rodents were dancing the Electric Slide.

For a few hours Tuesday night, the Sequoia restaurant here was transported back to the golden era of the 1940s. Dance legend 92-year-old Frankie Manning was the special guest as the Glenn Miller Orchestra played swinging tunes and 300 dancers hit the floor during a "Home for the Holidays" event to benefit the United Services Organization.

Tiger Tiger is a chain of British nightclubs owned by Novus Leisure. As of mid-2007, the chain has nine branches, located in Aberdeen, Cardiff, Croydon, Glasgow, Leeds, London, Manchester, Newcastle and Portsmouth. Each branch has several bars, a restaurant and several dance floors; each location also has its own unique decor.

The chain's flagship branch, and the first to open (in 1998), is on Haymarket in central London. It is also the largest, with four floors covering some 18,000 sq ft (1,700 m ² ) of floor space. On 29 June 2007 it was outside this club that the first of two unsuccessful car bombs was discovered and made safe.

Tiger Tiger London has one restaurant, four large dance floors, and five bars throughout their massive space. Each dance floor boasts a different type of music.
